Today I'm re-introducing Moving Through—and sharing my new writing adventure(!)—in this episode of my occasional podcast. You might notice a few new things around here, too.
New subscriber here. Not a middle age parent, but a grandparent. 😉
I enjoyed reading your article about the writing between you & your son.
Moving to the TC area. Been in Interlochen for 20 years part-time and we love the area. Tearing down our cottage & building our last home in its place.
I’m not a runner, but do love the outdoors. I’m an avid walker (daily) since having a heart attack on Xmas morning out walking back in 2021.
My husband & I are celebrating 45 years of marriage on November 25.
Looking forward to reading more of your writings & hopefully meet you one day. 😊
Keep living life genuinely & intentionally. Ha! I’m at least 20 years older than you. 😂😂. Can you tell I’m listening to you on the podcast?
Hi, Maryellen! I am SO happy you are here! (I apologize for my delayed reply; I've been unplugging a bit with family in town for the holiday.)
Thank you so very much for subscribing and also for your support and interest in my work. I am so happy to hear you liked what I shared about writing and my son. Thank you, too, for listening to my latest podcast episode. Welcome to the Moving Through community. :)
I look forward to getting to know you more! How wonderful that you are a grandparent. (I look forward to this time of my life, should that be in the cards...hoping so, someday.) Oh, and happy anniversary to you and your husband! 45 years! I am very interested in how long marriages last, and last well. That's exciting you are building what sounds like your forever home.
I hope your weekend is going well. Thank you again for being here. It means a lot to me! xoxo
I can’t believe you have done this for a year and are doing so well. You may remember I connected with you in early June, then the next day my back basically exploded and I have been recovering since. You are doing exactly what I envisioned when I started my project (For one day). I love your writings and being a Michigander it is very recognizable to me. Sorry, started to go on, but I just read what you wrote and your work inspires me on what I can do with a plan and dedication, though isn’t that what running teaches us. I am hoping you will be a member of the On Your Right community OYR, when I launch it. Great work and thank you for sharing all you do. 😄🏃♀️🏃🏻👏👏
I certainly remember connecting with you this past summer! And I am very grateful for your continued support of my writing and work here. 💛
I am so sorry to hear about your back. I hope your recovery has been going well and you are feeling much better!
I truly appreciate your kind words. Thank you so much for being part of this community. I would love to support your community as well--this a great place to be if you want to create and grow a community. I look forward to reading your work!
Thank you Heather, keep writing great articles (what do they call them now I call it articles).
Yes, five months of hell and still another 4 to go. April will be my freedom date, but I can walk on a treadmill. The only positive is that I won’t feel guilty not running in the cold Michigan winter. You (as well as some other writers) have been my quiet motivation during this time. I read, learn, write (very little mental block), and obsess. I will send you on OYR swag when I am back to working in this passion project. Thank you and keep up the amazing work. Howard is

Heather,
Well I’m more than happy to share how marriages fare & last a long time! Let me know when & I’ll be ready! 😊👍🏼
No worries about the delayed response. I totally understand with the holidays & family. Chat with you soon.
