An afternoon away
Entering another new phase of parenting, rock-hunting, and feeling excited about a trip north.
Yesterday, as I dug my toes into the soft sand while reading a new book1 and Joe searched for stones in the shallows to add to our Great Lakes rock garden next to our front porch, I had only a vague sense of the time and when we’d need to start packing up our beach towels and chairs to head toward home.
