And of course I had to look and see what book it was that you are starting.... sounds wild! I'll have to check it out.... report back! Sitting and reading with a glass of wine would not bode well for my sleep... midlife.... ha!
Emma mentioned Yesteryear to me, so I checked it out. Initially I wasn’t sure I’d be interested in the topic of trad wives, but the premise intrigued me. The idea of going back in time/time travel has always been fascinating to me. It does pull you in! This book seems to be getting a good amount of buzz now. I’ll let you know what I think when I finish!
It was so lovely to briefly see you in person last week - I, too, am exhausted after multiple long days of travel in a row. I feel like I need so much more recovery time in midlife, and movement, outdoors, is definitely a huge part of that recovery.
Also: "Tired Yet Hopeful" seems to sum up my entire existence lately, so thank you for that!
I am so happy we were able to meet up last week at the conference. Next time we’ll make it longer, with coffee/tea! And yes to more recovery time needed these days. I am recognizing this for myself, but it also can still come as a surprise for some reason, and I at times battle feeling guilty for needing to take a break and go easy on myself. I am working on this!
